In the fall of 2007 we were in the middle of remodel when we decided to upgrade the electrical service. I met with several electrical contractors to get bids. When I met with Clay from Complete Electric he put me at ease with his positive, confident and practical approach. When I explained what I thought I wanted for the electrical upgrade Clay listened intently. When I finished he said the approach was basically sound and then offered his suggestions. What I liked is that he listened to what I had to say and then respectfully added his suggestions.

After all the bids came in and I compared them side-by-side Complete Electric was the clear winner. Clay won the contract because his bid was competitive and because he addressed the most number of my requirements.

Clay’s work was thorough, professional and efficient. I generally have very high expectations and he beat them. Furthermore, Clay stands behind his work. When a GFI receptacle failed on a Saturday afternoon, a few hours before I was throwing a party, Clay dropped what he was doing, came to my house and replaced the defective GFI.   He did this at his cost under warranty.

I am very pleased with the work Clay did on my 1920s house.  In the space of a few hours he added grounded outlets in my kitchen, repaired old light fixtures in my bathroom and kitchen, added new outlets in my living room. Clay has worked on variety of projects for our home in Berkeley for many years. He’s professional with a friendly, intelligent approach to all the work we have had him do, inside or out. We recently had Clay from Complete Electric install a modern ceiling fan in our Jack London Square loft and, quite honestly, we couldn't be happier! Since our unit features exposed concrete ceilings, the entire installation had to be perfectly clean - all of the conduit and junction boxes are visible to us and our visitors.
